We have been discussing the best place to create a small orchard (there is a perfect spot near to the kitchen garden). I imagined it being planted with daffodils and so was amazed when we walked over there and found it was already full of fresh green bulb leaves shooting up through the grass. They must have appeared from nowhere during the last week. It is so wonderful to make an exciting discovery like this, everywhere we looked we saw more of them.
