A huge moon

Tonight the moon is supposed to be at its closest to the earth for 20 years, a so called 'supermoon' although I wouldn't have known this just by looking at it. This was my view of the moon as I went to bed, later I was woken by the light shining onto my face ... we are still without curtains!

The new camera took an excellent photo of the detail though.
