Outside it is traditional English Bank Holiday weather. The rain has been falling steadily since I got up in the very early hours this morning to close the windows and keep the water off the fresh paint. We started the day with a cooked breakfast and as this left no room for lunch I made a cream tea instead! I used
Mary Berry's recipe for these scones and now I am trying an experiment to see how they freeze.
