Today I started to get everything ready for steaming my Christmas puddings so that everyone could have a lucky stir before I cook them tomorrow. Tom couldn't make it to us so I had a stir on his behalf. The kitchen smells of citrus and spice. I worked quietly whilst the other were at football, cheering Burton on to success.
