The stairs - hopefully our last major task

Dave is finally ready (physically and emotionally) to tackle the last major dirty project on the 'to do' list: the stairs at the back of the house. The stairs themselves are in a very poor state having been savaged by sandblasting before we bought the house. The plaster is also cracked and patchy, and what there is is painted red at the top and green lower down! Work commenced inside a curtained off confessional! Trying to stop the inevitable dust from settling everywhere in the house. I spent the day working on my curtains.
