Walking up to the top of our lane we spotted this heron who stood immobile in the field, I guess he's fed up with waiting for our pond to fill with water! Mind you a little later on it began to absolutely pour with rain and presumably out ventured whatever he was hoping to catch (but maybe not fish!)
