Writing a very big cheque

Dave looks happy for a man writing a very large cheque!! I need to get busy sending texts to say we've been successful.  All the land makes excellent prices but they had hoped for more from Lot 1 (probably as we'd offered more before the auction). Sometimes it pays to wait .....

We get the farm

I can't believe we have done it!!  After all the looking we have finally bought our farm. Buying at auction was terrifying I thought my heart would stop and I could hardly believe we were actually the last bid they took. Later that evening I secured the domain name for our future B&B.  Just 28 days until it is really all ours! Time to celebrate.

For sale - by auction

Our hearts sink as yet another property that we like is going to auction. Based on what we now know we decide to make an immediate offer but the vendors are not interested and so we will be off to Uttoxeter Racecourse on the 26th June to do our best. I tell Dave we just have to keep putting our hands up until it's ours - he says it doesn't work like that ....
