The wind is strong again today and as I look out of the study window the long grass is being blown into waves that move rapidly across the land. It's an amazing sight to watch. Since I took this photo a couple of hours ago it's now getting dark but I can hear and see the tractors as they work to cut the neighbouring fields for silage. Our crop of hay will grow on for a few more weeks, allowing the wild flowers to set their seed.
