Vanish ... ing

Red wine on expensive white bedding ... oh dear. Vanish Gold (plus a lot of time and elbow grease) came to the rescue despite first turning the stains an alarming shade of blue. Gradually though the colour faded and the marks are now only feint. It was a good blowy day for putting washing (many loads) out on the line to dry. Now I just have a pile of ironing to tackle ... and the carpet.
