Passing our garden today you may have been forgiven for thinking I was starting up a rival point of Somersal worship! We looked online for scarecrow frame dimensions and realised after we'd made it that the American site's suggestion of wood 8'x5' had created a giant cross! I mocked up a more realistic body with old branches and Dave will be adapting his structure accordingly (two days later my effort was felled by the wind!)
