The area between the big field and the top field was used over generations (like much of the farm) for tipping rubbish that no one fancied dealing with. There is the usual rubble and bricks, plus an old bed-frame and some tractor tyres. I really want to clear and plant this during 2015 so today we went and looked at what needs to be done. I would like to grow a small number of Scots Pine here, echoing those I can see in the distance, hopefully this would also allow us to attract goldcrests to the farm as they have been spotted nearby.
