You can see from this picture why everything is tricky. The curtains had to be designed to sit in the small gap between the plate rack and the wall. I have fashioned a device using the plastic from a milk bottle carton to ensure that the curtain fabric doesn't rub against the wood each time the curtains are drawn. I am pleased with the result and bet I own the only curtains inspired by the Abbott's Bromley Horn Dance outfits! (They also have a motif of acorn leaves on them).

Guest living room
The guest living room now has curtains and sofas. Just lamp shades to sort out and we are nearly done here.
