After very sporadic sightings over the winter I was delighted and surprised to see three hares in the field this morning. The grass was soaking after a night of heavy rain but I raced outside for a closer look. Suddenly they all rushed past me, just metres away, as they chased each other about. Special experiences like this make it such a privilege to live here at Hill Farm.
