A brief very heavy downpour produced a wonderful rainbow this afternoon. The soil is very dry and we could do with soft gentle rain. I spent a whole day gardening earlier in the week removing lots of little nettle plants. Today was a flower day of a different sort, selling British Legion Poppies in Uttoxeter.
