This iris was a present last year and I've been waiting patiently for it to flower, especially as it's spent the last few weeks in bud. It's the perfect colour for it's location with the purple harmonising with all the other shades of blue and lavender in the bed and the yellow picking up the colour of the euphorbia flowers behind. Thanks to my sister I'm reminded that it is a sibirica iris, hopefully it will survive the winds that seem to have suddenly reappeared today.
