Dave works to clear the stone gate posts at the entrance to our part of the lane. We worry that someone will drive into them when they're obscured by foliage. The council edge trimmer has just done his work and so our clearing completes the drive for improved visibility. Sometimes though we get the odd car that speeds past at a ridiculous rate given that there are tractors, horses and walkers any of whom could be the other side of the blind bend.
