It's great to live in a village where you get the chance to wear your tiara! Yesterday we had a tea party at the church to celebrate (belatedly) the Queen's Birthday and so a regal headpiece was just the thing. The weather was kind, the food good and everyone had a good time. We also discovered surprising connections with neighbours that we hadn't known of before: someone has a brother in law who's worked with my brother for years and someone else was married in the same church we were although it's 150 miles from here - as they say 'it's a small world'.
