After using lots of relatively inexpensive paint we have finally bought some proper Farrow and Ball to use on the walls of the living room. The shade we are using is Lime White:
"the colour of untinted brightest white limewash or soft distemper". Dave went to buy the paint while I got to go to the dentist!
