I am amazed at how well the alliums have stood up to the wind here. They are still looking good and I have planted out a number of scabious grown from seed which are now leaning amongst them as if to say 'look at me'. The wind initially knocked the scabious stems sideways, but now the flowers are heading upright again and I love the informality this has created.
