We've let the grass grow long by the apple trees so that the daffodils, which are also here, have time to die back fully, now however it is time for this to be cut. My parents used to cut their long grass after my birthday and we decide to do the same. Last year we didn't buy the strimmer until the end of July and everything had become so tough that cutting it back was very hard work, we certainly never want to find ourselves in that situation again!
